The Greater Nigeria Initiative flagged off its Ideal Citizens Campaign in Abakwa Community School of Kaduna state on Monday, 13th January 2014.

The Ideal Citizen Campaign is a project which focuses on using cost effective advocacy tools to promote the adoption of civic responsibilities and to prevent the occurrence of electoral violence.

The project also seeks to correct the political apathy currently exhibited by citizens of Nigeria and to negate ethno-religious politics and other factors which often breed violence during elections.

The project was flagged off as part of the organization's outreach strategy for enlightening students on their duties as active citizens roles towards preventing electoral violence.
